Product Description

HMS Victory was first launched in 1765 as a first rate ship. It fought in three major sea battles, the most known one being the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The ship had an unusually long service life, also gaining renown in the American War of Independence, the French Revolutionary War as well as the Napoleonic War. HMS Victory was moved to a dry dock in Portsmouth in 1922 and preserved as a museum ship that is still open to visitors. With 240 years of service in 2018, she is the world’s oldest naval ship that is still in commission. This high quality handmade model will be a great way to own a piece of British naval history and put it on display.
